Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Good Morning Wishes app ("the app") uses, why, and the choices you have. The app is published by Glory Developers ("we", "us").
1. Information we do not collect
- The app has no account, login or registration.
- We do not ask for or read your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, files, camera, microphone or location.
- We do not run our own servers for this app and do not receive or store personal information about you.
2. Information stored only on your device
- Favourites and settings: the cards you mark as favourite, whether you have seen the welcome screens, and your notification choice are saved on your phone. They are not sent to us.
- Daily notifications: reminders are scheduled by the app on your phone itself. No push-notification server is used, and no notification identifier is sent to us.
This information is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
3. Information collected by third parties
The app uses the services below. They collect information directly from your device under their own privacy policies.
Advertising
The app shows ads (banner, native, full-screen and app-open ads) through Google AdMob. AdMob may also show ads from partner networks. To choose, show and measure ads, and to detect fraud, these companies may collect:
- your device's advertising ID;
- IP address, which can indicate your approximate location (such as country or city);
- device and app information, for example device model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type and the app's version;
- information about the ads shown to you and how you interact with them;
- diagnostic information such as crash or performance data from the advertising software.
| Company | Used for | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google LLC) | Showing and measuring ads; consent messages | policies.google.com/privacy How Google uses information from apps that use its services |
| Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms) | Ads supplied through AdMob | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Liftoff Monetize, formerly Vungle (Liftoff Mobile, Inc.) | Ads supplied through AdMob | liftoff.ai/privacy-policy |
App configuration
The app uses Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC) to download its settings, such as whether ads are switched on and at what times notifications are shown. For this, Firebase uses an installation identifier that does not identify you personally, along with basic device and app information. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Premium (which removes ads), the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing (Google LLC). We do not receive or store your card or payment details. The app only learns from Google Play whether your subscription is active, and remembers that on your phone so it can hide the ads. Subscription terms are in our Terms of Use.
4. Permissions the app uses
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Billing | To let you buy the optional Premium subscription through Google Play. |
| Internet and network state | To load ads and download the app's settings. The cards themselves work without internet. |
| Advertising ID | Used by the advertising companies above to show and measure ads. |
| Notifications | To show the daily wish reminders. Asked once; you can refuse. |
| Run at start-up | To put the daily reminders back after the phone restarts. |
5. Sharing cards
When you tap "Send on WhatsApp" or "Share", the app hands the selected card image to the app you choose. We do not see who you send it to, and the other app's own privacy policy applies to what happens next.
6. Your choices
- Personalised ads: on your phone open Settings → Google → Ads (on some phones Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting it stops ads from being personalised using that ID.
- Consent in Europe and the UK: where the law requires it, the app shows a consent message from Google before ads are requested, and uses your choice.
- Notifications: turn "Daily wishes" off in the app's Settings, or block notifications for the app in your phone's settings.
- Stored data: clear the app's data or uninstall the app to remove everything it has saved on your phone.
7. Data retention and deletion
We do not hold personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Information collected by the advertising and configuration services above is kept by those companies under their own policies; you can use their privacy pages, linked above, to make requests to them.
8. Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help.
9. Security
The app communicates with the services above over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but because we do not collect personal information ourselves, there is little that could be exposed through us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
